About Cindi

Hello! Let me share a little bit about me. I'm so blessed to be able to quilt every day and LOVE it! By my side are my little bunnies Romeo and Harriet and my wonderful husband Frank. I enjoy the process of taking individual pieces of fabric and putting them together to form a whole and tell a story. My grandmother taught me to quilt.... the old fashioned way.... by hand, when I was a teenager. I took a break to raise a family and returned to quilting full time in 1998. Making the quilt tops is a wonderful journey. The challenges my customers have given me with *building* their quilts really charges my creativity. My favorite part, I have to say though, is the hand quilting. This last step can make or break the finished quilt. I spend more time on this step than any other! Between the creation of a quilting pattern and the hand quilting itself, a full sized quilt can have up to 1000 hours invested. A true labor of love. My quilts are made to be handed down through the family as cherished heirlooms. I invite you to visit me at www.cottontailquilts.etsy.com
